Head of Finance Division Circular

This is a great opportunity to take on a key role in a growing international business. The Head of Finance will be the leader for the finance function of Division Circular, focusing on creating an independent division within the Group.

The Circular Division, one of five divisions within BEWI, started in the end of 2018 and has today a turnover of approx. 800 MSEK. The division consists of  several companies in Europe, Canada and the US and will continue to grow through acquisitions, thus keeping its entrepreneurial culture. 

Job description

As Head of Finance, you will actively contribute to the growth and development of the Circular business by challenging, monitoring and analysing the business and driving actions accordingly. You will work closely with and be an important partner to the division’s Managing Director in his role leading the Circular business. You will also work close with the subsidiaries in the different countries within the division, both supporting them and securing timeliness, quality and analytical height in reporting. The tasks will vary from operational tasks, to driving improvement and overall strategic opportunities.

Your main tasks will be to:

  • Lead the finance function of the Circular Division including personnel and budget responsibility
  • Further strengthen the division to become an independent division
  • Be the primary strategic sounding board to the MD of the Circular Division in all financial matters
  • Develop and ensure timely and accurate financial reports, analysis, forecasts and KPIs from the companies within the Circular Division as well as continuously improve the quality and control of these
  • Provide financial reports, analysis, forecasts and KPIs to the Circular Division´s MD and BEWI Group´s management team and other key stakeholders
  • Support and indirectly manage the Finance teams across the subsidiaries, ensuring reporting standards, quality of numbers and good understanding of their businesses 
  • Be responsible for the integration of acquired companies
  • As the division grows, further evaluate, develop, and streamline processes, IT support systems, financial models and organization within the Finance function

Requirements

  • Experience of accounting & group consolidation in an international context
  • Good understanding of financial management, accounting standards, guidelines and processes
  • Potential, or experience from leading a group with proven track record of being able to create a positive culture with motivated and dedicated employees
  • An academic degree in business or other related and/or relevant areas
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English and a Scandinavian language
  • If you have experience from the manufacturing industry, auditing, publicly listed companies or integration of acquisitions, we see it as a merit.
